Breaking/Starting Under Saddle
Available to begin groundwork November of yearling year.
As an experienced horseman, Mark Lavender believes that a solid foundation is extremely important when working with any horse. Having a horse that respects the rider, and in turn a rider that respects the horse, will allow each to have a positive training experience beginning from day one.
Competition Training
Available from 2 years and up.
The sport of cutting is an extremely competitive event, which is why Mark works every horse daily, 6 days a week, in order to achieve the peak athletic potential in each of his horses. Whether you are looking for a well trained ranch horse or a cutting edge competitor, we can deliver our training to best serve you and your horse.

Private/Group Lessons
Amateurs & Non Professionals welcome.
Would you like to try out the sport of cutting? Do you have the horse, but do not think that you are personally ready to compete? Mark Lavender is available for cutting and riding lessons, allowing you to take full advantage of you and your horse's full potential and talent.
Come take advantage of this local trainer, and brush up you and your horse's skills. Either on the flag or around the arena, an hour lesson of body position and relaxation techniques in the saddle can do wonders.
Horse Sales & Consulting
Available as reference, contact for sales, and consulting in purchasing a horse.
Many horse sales occur throughout the year, and with them many horses are purchased. Sadly, not everyone ends up with a horse that meets their personal needs.
Mark Lavender has dealt with a wide variety of horses and people. He can offer his services in making sure that you are purchasing a horse at the right price, and a horse that is suited for what you have planned.
Your best interest is our top priority.
Boarding
Do you live in the city and need a loving place to keep your horse? Are you a student that loves to ride, and would like to keep your horse close and cared for? Come and check out our facilities, for the future short or long-term home of your equine friend.

Stall Boarding: One 12x12 stall, feed & hay. Turnout may be limited based on current availability. $700/mo/horse

AAAA Certified NCHA Judge
Available to travel worldwide.
From Australia to Italy, Mark has traveled worldwide and is known as a fair and entertaining judge. He was a judge during Dont Look Twice and Phil Rapp's run that scored a 234 to break NCHA's all time single-run record, held for the past 13 ½ years by Bet Yer Blue Boons and Lindy Burch.

Mark is available for all shows that need judging, both large and small.
